Suite Amendoeira
The Amendoeira Suite is located on the first floor, away from all the other rooms. It offers a wonderful spring light early in the morning. The room is ideal for guests looking for privacy, a romantic stay and / or for an unforgettable honeymoon. With plenty of space, this room is also perfect for long stays.
Entrance to the suite through its separate private entrance. The suite is decorated in pink tones, with wooden floors, a small separation for the sofa bed, a large closet, a desk and a dresser. Walls are very old mother of pearl colour. A large private balcony offers a full view onto the vineyards and the olive groves all over the surrounding valley up to the mountains.
We recommend a book or a glass of wine before dinner while enjoying the late afternoon sunset.
Before going to bed, you may also decide to contemplate the multiplicity of stars and the Milky Way within a dark sky without any artificial lights.
A fully enjoyable zen space to perfectly enjoy a relaxing and peaceful rest.

Aphylanthes Room
We also recommend that you stay in our Aphylanthes room. This room is located on the main house’s first floor. The room is furnished with country elegance, reminiscent of a bygone era, in pale blue and white. This room, with its twin beds is ideal for traveling companions who desire separate beds.
Direct and separate access to the room is possible through a terrace overlooking olive and almond trees as well as vineyards. You can also enjoy on this outside extension an aperitif at the end of the day or a last drink at night while contemplating the stars.
This room is on the same floor as the Suite Amêndoeira which together can also be booked for an entire family.

Zimbro Room
Located on the ground floor, this bedroom has both entrance through in-house corridor as well as its own private entrance directly from the terrace.
The Zimbro Room offers a private patio overlooking the front of the house. We suggest that you take advantage of this private retreat area looking out over the centuries-old vineyards and surrounded with ponderosa trees.
Inside the room, we recommend that you snuggle up in the bed or relax in the cosy seating area with a good book. An armoire with large storage area is offered when you unpack.

Esteva Room
The Esteva room is furnished with a comfortable king size bed where you will enjoy sleeping soundly in this peaceful surroundings.
Located on the ground floor of the main house, you can also access the bedroom through a private entrance when using your private patio. The room faces the front of the house and offers a magnificent view.
The room is also perfect for early morning bird watchers. The Esteva Room is decorated in shades of red and white. You shall enjoy the room while you relax with a book.

Grifo Room
Through a private entrance, the doors open onto a small terrace, a perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine before dinner.
The bedroom is located on the ground floor with view on the pool. The room is decorated in shades of brown and red, furnished with a king size bed, an antique wash basin, two comfortable chairs. This bedroom is perfect for snuggling up with a good book and is also ideal for romance seeking couples looking for the best places to stay in the middle of the Douro Internacional Region.

Cegonha Room
With its quiet toasted yellow décor, the Cegonha Bedroom invites you to sit for a while and let the cares of daily life drift away. Escape the world here, in a hidden and peaceful corner where no one would find you.
The large doors open out onto a deck facing the pool. You may decide to sit outside and watch the light fade in perfect privacy before you go to dinner. When you wake up, we suggest breakfast out on the deck with birds singing around you in the morning sunshine.

Oliveira Room
Named after our famous Portuguese Oliveira tree, the room has large windows directly opening onto a small private terrace. This room shall invite you to relax and unwind at any time of the year. We suggest you sit in a comfortable chair with a high back while feeling the cool summer breeze. Enjoy a glass of wine while the sunset casts a magical glow.
This room has two iron beds and a small marble desk. It is located on the ground floor close to another bedroom with a king size bed, which makes it an excellent alternative for family or friends traveling together.

Erva de Prata Room
Erva de Prata (or, ‘silver herb’ with yellow flowers) is a well-known Portuguese flower you can find in the Freixo Region. We named this room referring to its white and yellow tones decoration.
The room is furnished with two single beds, a rustic table and two chairs. The room is spacious and bright, is situated on the ground floor and also has its private porch deck facing the outdoor swimming pool on the north site of the house.

NOTE: On local festive dates or on national holidays the rates are €130.00 (Suite Amendoeira) and €115.00 (double or singles rooms)
General Conditions
- Check In Time is 4:00pm and Check Out Time is 11:00am.
- Room Rates: Rates are for Double Occupancy with any additional persons over the age of 6 resulting in an additional charge of €20.00 per night.
- Maximum number of guests for the Suite Amendoeira is 3 adults.
- Since Quinta do Salgueiro B&B has a limited number of rooms, all reservations require an advance deposit before being confirmed.
- We are a smoke free property with a €15,00 per day charge if smoking is detected in your room.
- We are very sorry but we cannot allow pets.
- Deposit Conditions: 40% of the total stay is required as a deposit to guarantee the reservation. If booking for one night, a full deposit of the stay will be required.
- Cancellation Policy: We have a 7 day cancellation policy. If you cancel with less than 7 day’s notice, you forfeit your entire deposit. If you cancel 7 or more days before your arrival date, there is a €25.00 cancellation fee and the balance is refunded.
